Major Updates - Puppies, Christmas and Moving Plans

First of all - HAPPY NEW YEAR from Marc, Jenn, Dexter and Maddie!!!

So, I'm WAY BEHIND on updating. It's only been a month but feels like forever since the last post I put up.

First up, Annual Girls Christmas Party - we had so much fun, as always. Took it to a restaurant this year and then out and about downtown Houston - we are old though...all were heading home before midnight. I have to say I was one of the lamest of all - hard to admit but it's true. Drinking and dancing into the night just doesn't have the same appeal as it used to - although hanging out with my girlfriends never gets old!

We decorated our house and got some cute little outfits for the pups - you can see in the pics below.

The puppies are doing GREAT. They've finally mastered climbing up the stairs but sit at the top and bark and bark and BARK instead of coming back down. Dexter did learn how to get up first and his favorite thing to do was go upstairs and sit and look at poor Maddie trying so hard to get up - but she just couldn't. Bratty dog! Finally they both can but the newest game we play in our house is "see how many times we can run up the stairs and make Mom and Dad come get us by barking" - of course, since they can't come back down, we the sucker parents always go back and get them... I finally got a puppy gate to put up - their up and down the stairs game gets really tiring after awhile.

They had a blast at Mom and Dad's house in Mont Belvieu - so much attention and toys and turkey - they were totally spoiled, just like their parents! =) Here are some Christmas Eve and Day pics to enjoy!

The biggest news of the year, even after getting married,

WE ARE MOVING TO NEW YORK CITY! =)

My dear husband has been promoted through Clear Channel to the number one market in the U.S. Pretty dang cool, huh? We are super sad to leave Houston - our lives have been great here and while we really weren't planning to leave, the opportunity came along and here we go. Marc's last day of work in Htown was last Thursday and he'll be flying up to NYC for good this Friday, January 4th - first day is January 7th. For those of you who know our place well, it looks like total chaos and pretty sad these days. We've sold the majority of the furniture we had - packers come on the 2nd to pack it up and movers come on the 3rd to haul it to Manhattan. We found an awesome place in Chelsea and are looking forward to getting up there and getting settled. Our new place is called The Tate - you can check it out at http://www.thetatenyc.com/ .

Some of our good friends planned a going away party for Thursday, January 3rd at Lucky's Pub in Downtown area (http://www.luckyspub.com/). All are welcome to come hang out - not to say goodbye, just maybe.....good luck. =) And, if ever in NYC, please call us or come hang out - we are looking forward to hanging with lots of our friends and family in The Big Apple.
