John Mayer - STILL Rockin' My World

Soooo, if you've known me awhile and/or if you know me well, you KNOW I'm a huge Mayer fan... Have been since way-back-when...I can still remember driving across Texas for concerts in tiny venues just to see him play. He has always been a great song writer and for those who don't know and think he's just some pop guy, he JAMS on guitar. He was actually just named one of the 50 Best Guitar Players of All Time by Rolling Stone magazine - hopefully that gives him a little street credibility and takes him out of the same lineup as the Jessica Simpson types for you music snobs out there.

Soooo, I HAVE BIG NEWS.

First of all, my husband ROCKS. He's constantly hooking me up with the best concerts and special events around and this time he really scored some major points. Tuesday was z100 big LIVE performance at Spotlight Live in Times Square with none-other-than Mr. John Mayer himself and I got the full hookup! My friend Edna and I were at the front of the stage for the interview and short song list and then as we sautered upstairs for beverages and snacks, we happened to hop on the right elevator...or wrong elevator...

AND ENDED UP MEETING JOHN MAYER!

No, I'm not kidding and yes, I have proof! Check out our fantastic photo below - you can tell how happy and shocked Edna and I are as we couldn't stop smiling... Edna keeps calling this the BEST DAY EVER because of our awesome experience. Mr. Mayer was a gentleman and really nice - personable - witty - like an actual person, imagine that! Who knew!
