Um - Yeah
So - you'll truly never believe where I was last night. I could give you 100 guesses and you'd never get it... It's totally out of J. Salty Magnone character - but I have to admit, it was fun. For those who don't know, my husband is a closet rap fan - and when I say rap, I mean hard-core, explicitive using, beat-blasting rap music. I used to climb in his car which would literally be shaking from the bass hitting so hard on his stereo to hear rap music flowin' with the most dirty language and ridiculous words ever... He would promptly push a button and blaring out would be Sunny 99.1 - as if his jam sessions really consisted of Phil Collins and Christopher Cross....yeah right - nice try at a cover up. He was busted more than once on the rap genre he was rocking and every time I would BURST out laughing - just so funny to see this suited-up professional guy rapping away in his car - does anyone remember Office Space, the movie....remember the guy rapping in the beginning - aahhahahaha - laughing out loud thinking of it. Yeah well, that's Marc. Gotta love it...
So, a couple of days ago he mentioned that 50 Cent was in town with G Unit (uh - Who? - was my first thought) at the Nokia Theater and he wanted to go - SERIOUSLY. So for days he rocked 50 Cent on our stereo at home and begged and I caved... I got my ghetto gear on last night and headed to the club - er - concert for 50 Cent and G Unit as they had their sold out release party (new cd hit stores yesterday) at Nokia.
We had so much fun - I couldn't believe where I was, what I was listening to or what I was seeing but hey, life is all about new experiences and this was a great one. I might have been the whitest white girl there but no one stared, even when I danced - so, it was a good time. Pics below with a little video - enjoy... And here's to us all expanding our horizons - even when that means hitting a 50 Cent/G Unit rap concert every now and then!
By the way, on a side note, 50 Cent has the whitest teeth I've ever seen - I want them. If anyone knows his secret - or his dentist - be in touch.

Oh my gosh, you are so funny!!!!
Yes, to think Marc is really a hardcore rap fan....Mr. Professional suit. ha ha!!!!
You are such a good sport to go along with some of his crazy ideas. But you are so right....only one chance to experience things...and life gives those chances. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!
You are so ghetto fabulous! Maybe all the diamonds in 50 Cent's grill make his teeth look whiter :) Anyway, I LOVE the way the random lady is looking at Marc in the subway picture. I cracked up!
what do you mean by "ghetto gear"? Is there a specific type of garb people in "ghettos" wear? -- a brown person
