If Only I Were a Super Model...

This week is Fashion Week at New York City's Bryant Park and I have been bugging Marc for WEEKS about finding some way to get me in through his radio connections so I could hang with all the pretty people. I'm sure many of you have read about the fashion frenzy on Ruth's website - hundreds of celebrities, lots of fabulous clothes and not to mention those fantastic "goody bags" all invitees get to walk away with - if only I were a Super Model. But hey, if you can't be one, might as well stalk them right!? Today I headed to Bryant Park and started "stalking" along with the rest of the papparazi - these people stand around for HOURS with giant cameras around their neck and hope that someone famous decides to appear all throughout the day...what a job! Enjoy the amateur pictures - in two hours today I saw more celebrities than I have in my entire life...kinda cool AND kinda crazy. Ruthie, next year you MUST plan a trip up here so we can go "star stalking" together - there were actually two girls doing just that today...sitting around, laughing and chatting it up as they chased around the papparazi trying to catch a picture of the next big star to head into the big tent...if was fun BUT really made me miss my girlfriends!

This is Bryant Park, a fantastic park spanning two giant blocks, smack in between 5th and 6th Avenue and 40th and 41st Street. It is beautiful year round...lots of stuff to do here always!

This is the Bryant Park Hotel - Erika, do you remember us and Carolyn trying to figure out what in the world that beautiful building was beside Bryant Park? Figured it out - this is where all the famous people stay and play...there were actually people standing outside with earphones, monitoring who was going in and coming out. =)

Here's the overflow from the tents - models and on-lookers wishing they could get a sneak-peak at what is going on inside...

Ruth - I don't remember the name of this lady (the one in the back with short hair) - name please?

THE Debra Messing AKA Grace from Will and Grace...love her! She looked so sheik and classy....wait, did I spell shiek correctly?

Ana Ortiz (Hilda Suarez) from Ugly Betty - she had some fantastic shoes on...seriously, below is a picture of the back of them - I WANT THEM.

Ruth - this one too please....

Nicholle Tom (Maggie Scheffield) from The Nanny (I think.......)

Pharel = N.E.R.D.

This one too Ruthie - I know, I'm ashamed...I need help with the famous people's names =)

Dr. Jennifer Melfi (Lorraine Bracco) from The Sopranos

This is the back of Rebecca Gayheart - she walked too fast to get a picture!

So, that's my big adventure for the day today - also, I had a great third interview this morning with Active Marketing Group. I left with the promise of an offer heading my way end of week so everyone say a little prayer and keep your fingers crossed - it's a great opportunity, I believe and I am bored to death.... I want a job - something to do - better happen fast or I'm going to take a go at becoming a professional dog walker. I hang with Maddie and Dexter all day long - might as well take on a few more and get paid for it, right?

I am so jealous I am speechless. I really don't know what to say. We might be in a fight.

Sigourney Weaver, Karen Duffy, Joy Bryant are the three unnamed celebs.

Most importantly... who cares about Rebecca Gayheart... that was ERIC DANE with her. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

I LOVE it and am jealous beyond words! Forget sports marketing, you could just buy a fancy camera and become a paparazzo! ;) Yes, I did have to look up that word on wikipedia.
