Locks of Love

I finally did it! Rachel has been telling me to go see her hairdresser for years now and yesterday I finally did. Melanie over at Vertigo Hair Salon did a fantastic job and helped me get through the process of cutting my hair shorter than it's ever been! Here's a picture of the "new do" and also the 10inches of ponytail I'm donating to Locks of Love. My friend April did this several months ago, while I was in the process of growing my hair out for the wedding. It's a really good cause and hopefully will help out a little girl in getting a wig. Getting married to Marc made me the happiest girl in the world and hopefully I can pass some of that happiness on to someone else with a donation like this.

Adventures of Maddie and Dexter

An update on our children…haha!

Dex is feeling a lot better and is actually giving Maddie a run for her money at being the craziest of the two dogs. He's a little pistol right now and is quickly catching up to his sister in weight, mischieviousness and personality. He's awesome!

Maddie is little miss perfect, as well. She's definitely a curious little pup, checks everything out and is really good at instigating wrestling matches with her brother. Even though she's a little bigger, recently Dexter has been pinning her down and she can't move!

It's hilarious to watch the two of them interacting.......they are a handful and we wouldn't have it any other way. Below are updated pictures from the past few days - enjoy!

Update on weight - Today, Dexter weighed in at 4 lbs and 4 ounces – Maddie weighed in at 4 lbs and 6 ounces. Growing like weeds…

Sleeping on Dad while he tries to work...

They look so innocent when they are sleeping

Dexter checking stuff out on a ride to see Aunt Erika and Uncle Daniel...Dex and Maddie had lots of fun playing with Isabelle...she's the only human they've ever been around that is close to their size - lol! They also loved the back yard....

Maddie is really curious - she checks out the windows a lot!

Dexter is also curious - you can tell as he tries to eat the camera while Marc takes a picture...

Daily routine in our household - wagging butts and tails from underneath the coffee table...

Great pic of Miss Maddie with the collar she ALWAYS seems to get out of!

Snoozin' on the couch...

Mom and kids - so proud!

Vet Report

So today we had our first vet visit. Dexter hasn't been feeling well - not playing very much or eating and has been sleeping all day. He had a cough too so we decided to take them both in. Good report from the vet though - neither had anything that really jumped out. She thinks Dexter has a cold or an upper respiratory infection... They are both right at 3.5 lbs each and go in next week to get their second round of shots (they'll be 8 weeks old on the 24th). They did really well at the vet but have been asleep since we got home - think they are exhausted!

New Family Members

Marc REALLY got me this weekend! He surprised me with two Jack Russell puppies - a boy and a girl (brother and sister). They are seven weeks old and are absolutely ADORABLE. So far we've only had a couple of accidents but we've probably been outside once every-other hour...haha. We took them to Christian's Tailgate today for lunch and got so much attention - they are only seven weeks old so you can imagine every person in there wanted to pet them and tell us how precious they are. Good thing is that they are getting used to being around people which is very important in this household....lol.

I've posted several pictures below - the white one is the male and his name is Dexter. The other is the female and I think we've both finally agreed on Maddie for her name. They are SO SO SO CUTE - looking foward to introducing them to all of YOU!

The Big Day!

I am still not sure what's happening with this blog but I'm hoping it'll fix itself - we'll see. Here's the good stuff - the day Marc and I became Mr. and Mrs. Magnone - woohoo! It's already been a month - time flies when you're having fun I guess! Enjoy the pictures!

Love you all - thanks for making our wedding so special!
