Happy Monday Everyone

Don't have any fun pictures to show you from our weekend - we basically chilled out and did a lot of nothing. Quick run down of our weekend:

Friday Evening - Ordered pizza from Brick Oven 33 (Margherita style with fresh mozzarella and basil - so good), our new favorite pizza joint up the road on 23rd, watched the weather change from rain to snow back to rain, watched Invincible (really good movie, by the way) and then walked over to Empire Cafe at 22nd and 10th Ave for coffee and a giant Brownie A La Mode. Yum!

Saturday - Finally got up around 10 and had some cereal, then headed to Bank of America to get our joint accounts set up and ready to go. Nice to have things all in order. Then walked over to Chat N Chew, this awesome little hole in the wall restaurant close to Union Square. I had Macaroni and Cheese and Marc had a burger - we had Coca Cola cake for dessert - it was all really good. Walked around for awhile after that, came home and hung out with the dogs and then went to dinner with Byron and Jess and to see SemiPro with Will Farrell. Funny, just not hilarious - it was a mindless movie so I was totally ok with it.

Sunday - We both laid around a lot of the day then finally got motivated and went out to see Frank and Jeannie Bucci who were in town visiting friends. FINALLY had Magnolia cupcakes after standing in line and being handled like the Soup Nazi handles customers in Seinfeld...they were worth it though. Not sure which is better though, Billy's or Magnolia's.... We went to St. Patrick's Cathedral for Mass on Sunday night - I've never been to a more beautiful church. I almost started crying when I walked in - it is so breathtaking. I can't describe it in words - just absolutely gorgeous.

So, that's it. I have one more week of boredom here at home and actually start my job on March 11th, the day my brother flies into town. Can't wait to get back to working again - hopefully will happen soon! Rachel is headed to visit this weekend and I can't wait to see her friendly face - I miss my friends and family so very much.
